Yorkshire Meadows is a small sheep farm with a Knitting Shop on site. Unfortunately it is not handicap accessible as it is on the second floor. Presently we have 6 breeding ewes which produce around a dozen lambs each May. We shear in April and the raw wool is either stored for sale as whole fleeces or washed and dyed for needle felting or spinning. In the shop I sell yarn spun from my own sheep's wool along with a large inventory of retail yarns from Plymouth Yarn Company in PA and Bartlettyarn in Maine. There is also plenty of knitting notions, needles, patterns and books. This is a great place to come and purchase warm knitted items to keep friends and family toasty during the chilly Winter months or to learn how to knit items yourself.

I was born and raised in Yorkshire England, hence the name of the shop, and love to bake traditional English desserts. I am registered with the state of PA as a baker. You can call ahead and schedule a "Tea" to be served in the shop. This includes tea sandwiches, salad and a medley of desserts along with Yorkshire Tea. Contact me if you'd like more information.
